About Me
I have been working in the field of healthcare for over a decade. I am a Certified Rolfer™, a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Eight years ago, I tried Rolfing as a last resort for chronic back pain and it completely changed my life. Not only did it free me from pain, it taught me how we hold trauma, memories, and stories in our bodies. Through my work with Rolfing I began to see how the events in our lives shape not only our experiences, but our structure--manifesting in the way we occupy our space and time and come to presence in our bodies. The freedom and increased body awareness I gained from Rolfing gave me options to create sustainable changes in my body and in my life. I eventually quit my job at Via Christi Hospital to pursue a career in Rolfing, becoming a licensed massage therapist along the way. In March 2019 I graduated from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado.
My goal as a practitioner is to help my clients to develop a better relationship with their bodies, and to empower them to embody the natural integrity of their human form. I do my best to kindly, compassionately, and creatively address the individual needs of each of my clients, and to help them learn to use their body as a resource. I believe that by helping people to make positive changes in their body and body awareness, I can empower them to make positive changes in their lives.
